Richard & Zoë Hawkins established Overton Gallery in 1995, after refurbishing a formerly run down old newsagents.
"We started picture framing on the premises in our custom built workshop which was a former wash-house for two cottages. After a year of settling into life in Overton we decided to open our Tea Room and Courtyard Garden, offering the very best homemade cakes and lunches."
During the Winter months customers can enjoy a cosy Tea Room with an open fire. Summer can be enjoyed in the Courtyard, which is surrounded by fig trees and other beautiful plants. Our cakes and lunches are made daily on the premises, with fresh ingredients sourced locally and from our own garden. During the Summer months, all of our salad is home grown at the bottom of our garden and sometimes picked twice daily!
We offer a bespoke in-house framing service, framing originals, prints, photographic images, clothing and shoes, medals, sports equipment, tapestries, cross stitches and many other pieces of art. We sell pictures from original artwork to limited edition prints, beautiful gifts and cards for every occasion.
